Joshua Turner, a multifaceted individual hailing from Oklahoma City, has an impressive journey that has seen him evolve into a successful business owner, educator, athlete, and role model. 

Born in the vibrant city of OKC, Joshua's roots run deep in his community. He is the proud owner of Turn-Fit Academy, a testament to his dedication to fitness and wellness. As a certified nutritionist, life span coach, and personal trainer, he helps individuals on their journey to a healthier lifestyle. His expertise does not stop there; Joshua is also a renowned public speaker, sharing his wisdom and experiences with audiences around the nation. 

Joshua's athletic journey is equally remarkable. He was an exceptional collegiate athlete, representing The University of Texas Longhorns. His talent and dedication were evident even in high school, where he earned the prestigious title of High School All-American. A standout on the field, he played in the Under All-American game in 2010 and was celebrated as a top recruit in the country for his class of 2011. His performance even earned him the coveted position of the #1 player in his home state. 

Joshua's academic achievements shine just as brightly as his athletic ones. Graduating in the top 3% of his class, he embarked on a remarkable journey toward higher education. He started this journey with nothing, and, along the way, he joined forces with his younger brother to launch a successful business. 

Joshua's determination is undeniable. It took him over a decade to achieve his degree, but he never gave up. He held a variety of jobs, from moving furniture with Bellhops to being a brand ambassador for Shofar and Mission. He worked as a janitor at a nursing home, took on roles as a bar back, security guard, and door guy, and excelled in promotions and sales at nightclubs and bars. He also delved into the world of technical recruiting, where he successfully placed over 25 engineers in software, hardware, firmware, and data science roles. 

Family is at the core of Joshua's values. He hails from a large, close-knit family that embodies love, peace, grace, and a strong belief in Jesus. Their unwavering support and encouragement have played a significant role in shaping Joshua's character and his desire to see the best in everyone. 

Currently, Joshua Turner's passion for education has led him to a new role as a 6th-grade reading interventionist at Elgin Intermediate School, where he teaches with love and enthusiasm from Monday to Friday. He is dedicated to empowering the next generation and making a positive impact in their lives.
